Adnan is a consultant and a legal adviser with over 14 years of professional experience, specialized in drafting new legislation and policies, regulatory impact analysis, performing independent reviews of existing legislation, providing expert advice on the compliance with international standards and supporting the process of updating public policies and procedure documents. Adnan has joined Lucid Linx in 2016 and in this capacity, he has been engaged in working with key international donors, including: United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), on performing analyses, supporting the processes of updating public policies and procedure documents, performing evaluations, supporting the processes of establishing performance measures and providing support in the processes of creation of strategic frameworks, planning and directing strategic and long-term goals.

Adnan has worked both within governmental institutions and international organisations and development agencies providing legal advice in legal drafting, policy analysis, research and evaluation, project development and implementation in the area of public law with a focus on gender equality, discrimination, human rights and rule of law in general. He has participated in drafting of over 50 pieces of legislation and over 20 public policies in Bosnia and Herzegovina and has authored, co-authored and edited over 50 reports, research papers and articles. Adnan held over 300 days of trainings for different stakeholders including member of parliaments, judges and prosecutors, civil servants, members of international and non-governmental organisations and students.

Adnan holds a Master’s degree in State management and humanitarian affairs from University of Sarajevo, University of Belgrade and La Sapienza University Rome, a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Faculty of Law of University of Sarajevo and has been awarded by several fellowships for his work and research including the Policy Development Fellowship Program by the Open Society Foundation.
